Beatrice “Bea” Everhart Speagle, 94 of Hickory, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Trinity Village surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on November 16th, 1931, in Caldwell County, NC she was the daughter of the late Claude and Effie Lee Setzer Everhart. Bea loved working in her yard and taking frequent trips to Walmart. She was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, Beatrice is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Sherrill Austin Speagle; her son, Randy Sherrill Speagle; her grandson, Devin Tyler Alderman.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Sandra Morgan; her two granddaughters, Robin Lail and Kelly Vaughn, husband, Danny, as well as numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Bea’s name.
