Our precious Betty now resides with our Lord she so lovingly served her entire life. And, to me, I truly loved reading the Bible her life stood for. Out of the blue one day, Betty called me. It was one of the hardest times of my life. That was 2013. I hung on to every word!!! Bless her soul to care enough about someone like me to call.
Betty, to me, was like a Mother Teresa! Thank you God for allowing me to know her!!!! Betty, sweet darling, you will be profoundly missed. With tears, I bid you so long for awhile.

A tremendous loss for family and a host of other friends and lives she touched! One of them was me. Betty always had a minute to listen, to pray and to encourage me in my spiritual and life journey. When I think of her, I see a sweet smile and hear a soft voice.... she was so beautiful and full of grace. When I think of all the godly women in my past, Betty stands out as one of the finest I had the pleasure to know and love.

Family and friends, I am so saddened to hear of this great loss. I have far too many great memories to share but I have one thing that has always stuck with me and that memory is that when my father tragically died when I was 7 years old, Betty was the first person to visit my mom. My mom and Betty were both pregnant together, Betty with my long time friend, Dean and my mom with me. Betty was the best friend anyone could ever have.
May God grant you all the peace only He knows how to give.
