Beverly Lynn (Bogert) Welch

Born in Memphis, TN on April 7, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Donald Arthur and Margaret Pearl Summers Bogert.

Caring for others was her main passion in life. She was employed by Catawba Valley Medical Center from 1983 to 2024. She worked in the NICU helping the tiniest of patients. She loved each and every one of her patients like family. She was known for her smile and big heart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son Jake Welch and brother Donald “Donnie” Arthur Bogert Jr.

She is survived by her husband Michael Welch of the home; her daughter Stacey Nitsch and husband Matthew of Hickory; granddaughter Maggie Nitsch and step father Glenard Randall of hickory, her sister Jamie Sigmon and husband Alex; niece Rachel Hull (Dustin) and their children Kinley, Piper and Mazie; nephew AJ Sigmon (Brittney) and their children Oliver and Claire; great nieces Farrah and Cassidy Davis , nephew Hunter Bogert, nephew Dalton Bogert (Savannah) and their daughter Hazel.

The family will receive friends Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12: 00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 12:00 pm at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel.
