Billie Jean Rhyne

Born in Morganton, Billie Jean Rhyne was the daughter of Rosa Lee Grady and Orie Glenn Wall, Sr. of Hickory.

Billie lit up hearts with her warm smile and laughter and touched lives wherever she went.

Billie was active in her community, an avid gardener and loved traveling cross-country with her beloved husband in their Airstream travel trailer. She made thirteen trips across the U.S. and Canada.

A sister, Betty Mickle, preceded Billie in death.

Billie is survived by her husband Bobby D. Rhyne of Raleigh; a son Robert G. Rhyne and daughter-in-law Patricia J. Rhyne of Orange, Calif.; a sister Martha Wallace of Hickory, and a brother Orie Glenn Wall, Jr. and his wife Elaine Wall of Garner. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
