

Born March 29, 1931 in Alexander County, she was the daughter of the late Homer Dagenhart and Betty Ann Little Dagenhart. Bobbie was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Taylorsville where she was a member of the LCW of the Lutheran Women’s League. She was also a worker for the Soup Kitchen for 10 years and retired from Sherrill Furniture Co.
In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Ivan Bowman; sister, Lorene Hines and a brother, Ray Dagenhart.
Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Gail Flynn and husband, Herschel of Conover; son, Rick Bowman of Hickory; grandsons, Ivan Eugene Flynn and Eric Theodore Flynn; and great-grandson, Dalton James Flynn.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Taylorsville with Rev. Michael Barber officiating. The body will lie in state from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2015 at Drum Funeral Home in Hickory.

Pallbearers to honor Mrs. Bowman will be Ivan Flynn, Eric Flynn, Danny Hines, Danny Robinson, Junior Payne, and Mark Robinson.
