Bobby was born August 20, 1939 in Burke Co. to the late Roy W. and Nelia Elrod Shook. He was also preceded in death by a brother, James Clifford Shook. He was a member of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, retired from Hickory White and a veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are his wife, Vivian Allen Shook of the home; step son, Rick Allen of Hickory; step grandson, David Cheyenne Stinson of Hickory; brothers, William Shook and wife, Debbie, of Conover and Glenn F. Shook and wife, Patricia of Hickory. A memorial service will be Thursday, January 16, 2014, at 2:00 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Johnny Tomblin officiating.
