Born in Johnson County, TN on August 8, 1941, he was the son of the late Dan and Bertie Cable Holloway.
In addition to his parents, his wife Gladys Holloway and a grandson Joshua Holloway preceded him in death.
His daughters Patty Bumgarner (Wayne) of Newton, Wanda Roberts (Robert) of Brookford, and Ella Petty (Scott) of Taylorsville; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sisters Sarah Holloway of Hickory and Nettie Forbes of Burke County survive him.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Hillside Baptist Church with Reverend Scott Whitesides and Reverend David Crump. The family will receive friends after the memorial service.
