Born December 5, 1988, in Catawba County, he was the son of Bruce Breckenridge and Teresa Cook Davidson.
Brandon had a passion for living life to the fullest each day. He loved his family and friends and brightened their days whenever he was with them. He was an avid fisherman, who was happiest when he was on the water casting a line.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard “Dick” Breckenridge and maternal grandfather, Aaron Cook.
He is survived by his father, Bruce Breckenridge of Conover; mother, Teresa Davidson and husband James of Hickory; sister Sara Portis and husband Chris of Newton; step brother, Zac Davidson of Montana; paternal grandmother, Barbara Breckenridge of Hickory; maternal grandmother, Leonia Cook of Hickory; his uncle Larry Cook and wife Marguerite of Hickory; his aunts, Debbie Stratton and husband Thomas of Hickory and Bonnie Ables of Hickory; cousins, Kyle Kinner of Washington, D.C., Ashley Wimbish and husband Nick and their daughter Carly of Taylorsville, Aaron Hedden and wife Hailey and their children, Ellie and Breck of Raleigh, Seth Hedden of Atlanta, Isaiah and Richard Ables of Hickory.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hickory Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Reverend John Lawrimore and Chaplain Aaron Hedden will be officiating the service. Friends are invited to join the family at the reception following the service.
