Brian Keith Hedrick

Brian Keith Hedrick, age 55, of Hickory, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory after a period of declining health. Keith was born October 9, 1961 in Catawba County to Olivia Turbyfill Hedrick of Hickory and the late Ralph Aaron Hedrick.

Keith was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church, ELCA, in Hickory, NC. He loved beach music and was a gun enthusiast.

Survivors include his mother, Olivia Turbyfill Hedrick of Hickory; daughter, Hanna Jane Hedrick of Mt. Holly, NC; sister, Cathy H. Hamrick and husband Bill of Quitman, TX; brother, Ralph Allen Hedrick and wife Sharon of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; nieces, Shelly Clark and husband Brian of Frisco, TX, and Andrea Slusher and husband Kevin of Clemmons, NC; nephew, Aaron Hamrick of Crossroads, TX; great-nephews, Cason Clark and Hayden Slusher; and special friend, Jana Camp of Bellwood, NC

A Rite of Christian Burial for Keith will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017 at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, ELCA with Rev. Greg Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be given to St. Stephens Lutheran Church, ELCA, 2259 12th Ave NE, Hickory, NC 28601.
