Carolyn Bolick

Carolyn Beach Bolick, 87, of Milton, Florida went to her heavenly home on September 22, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. She lived most of her life in the Lenoir/Hickory, NC area prior to moving to Florida in 2023 to be near her two daughters. Carolyn was born on December 17, 1938 in Caldwell County to the late Jesse Newton White and Alma Frances Parker White. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 40 years, Floyd Jay Bolick and a brother, Thomas White.

A graduate of the former Gamewell High School, Carolyn worked in both the furniture and lighting businesses prior to retirement. In retirement, she enjoyed working in her flowers; volunteering; and participating in the senior citizen group at Lakeview Baptist Church in Hickory where she was a member. Her proudest role in life was being a mother, grandmother, and a great grandmother. She was deeply devoted to her family and the families of her siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Trina (Bobby) Touchton of Milton, FL and Tammy (Greg) Revis of Milton, FL. Stepchildren Sherry (Larry) Gilbert, of Granite Falls, NC and Ronnie (Cybbelle) Bolick, of Florida. Three grandchildren, Hannah (Louai) Alnahhas Creedmoor, NC; Parker (Magan) Touchton, Centerton, AR and Caleb Revis, Milton, FL. Five great-grandchildren, Laith Alnahhas, Faris Alnahhas, Emesa Alnahhas, McKinlee Touchton, and Braylee Touchton. Surviving sisters include Shirley Bristol; Linda (Grady) Hawkins, Louise Pegram and Judy Summerlin. Also a number of nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered by her family for her faith, courage, and most of all love.

A celebration of life will be on Sunday, October 4 at 3:00 p.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church, 4080 North Center Street, Hickory, NC with Dr. Bobby Touchton, Rev. Troy Grant and Rev. Jerry Hurley officiating. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00-3:00 p.m.
