Carroll "Bud" Eugene Bolick

Born in Catawba County, on July 26, 1942, he was the son of the late Elmer and Iretha Starnes Bolick.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-brother Steve Benson.

Bud was a member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church. He was an Army Veteran, served from 1966 to 1968, during that time he was stationed in Thailand. Bud had retired as an electrician.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Erlene Miller Bolick of the home; sons Todd Bolick and wife Shannon of Taylorsville, and Shawn Bolick and wife Amy of Salisbury; grandchildren Christopher Bolick and wife Taylor of Hudson, Vanessa Annas and husband Jesse of Taylorsville, and Benjamin Bolick of Salisbury; great grandchildren Addison Bolick, Hannah Bolick, and Abram Annas; sister Myra Teague and husband Donny of Taylorsville; a brother Edgar Bolick of Taylorsville and step –sister Martha Bowman.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 3:00pm at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Dale Bost officiating. Military honors will be presented. Burial will follow in church cemetery.
