Born in Caldwell County on February 12, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Estelle Fox Laxton.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Fred Chapman, second husband Jack Harrison and a step-son Gary Harrison.
She is survived by her son Rocky Chapman of Greenville, SC; step-daughters Cindy Illmi and husband Dale of Sebring, FL and Deborah Harrison and Hector Gomez of Sebring, FL; grandson Casey Chapman of Greenville, SC; great grandson Landen Chapman of Greenville, SC; and three sisters Polly Bolick and husband Wesley of Hickory, Brenda Terrell and husband Larry of Granite Falls, and Jan Griffin and husband Ronnie of Germanton, NC.
Graveside service will be held Monday, March 15, 2021 at 2:00pm at Catawba Memorial Park.
