Christine Pitts Sain

Christine was born February 17, 1926 in Catawba Co. to the late William Albert and Grace Reece Pitts. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Grady H. Sain, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

She was a member of Mt. Grove Baptist Church in Mountain View and retired from Scarlet Butterfly. The family always enjoyed gathering for a Sunday afternoon meal with Grady and Christine, that she had prepared.

She is survived by her children; David H. Sain and wife, Evelyn, of Hickory, Tina Sain Phillips and husband, Alan Michael, of Winter Haven, FL, Terry Sain and wife, Tamara, of Hickory and Don Sain and wife, Kim, of Statesville; granddaughters, Julie Sain Cordora and husband, Dr. Michael Cordora, of Hickory, Amber Sain Phillips and husband, Adam ,of Newton; grandsons, Jeff Sain and wife, Lori, of Rockwell, NC, Wesley Sain of Hickory and Brandon Sain of Winston Salem; great grandson, Alex Cordora of Hickory and a brother, Paul Pitts and wife, Melissa ,of Hickory.

Services will be Friday, January 11, at 2:00 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Bob Thompson officiating.

Burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:30 until 8:00 p. M. at Hickory Funeral Home.
