Clara Murray Driscoll

Clara was born on October 28, 1926 in Glassport, PA to the late Daniel and Lavina Murray.

Clara was a member of St Aloysius Catholic Church in Hickory, NC and past member for 46 years at St Thomas More Catholic Church, Bethel Park, PA, where she volunteered for many years in the office. Clara worked in administrative roles for J.C. Penney in Pittsburgh, retiring in 1993 after 27 years.

Clara was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Giles C. Driscoll Jr.; and by her son Daniel Driscoll; and by a brother, Daniel Murray.

Survivors’ include a daughter, Jean Driscoll of Pittsburgh, PA; three son’s - Giles Driscoll and his wife Sally of Pittsburgh, PA, Thomas Driscoll and his wife Andrea of Zephyr Hills, FL, Martin Driscoll and his wife Corinna of Newton, NC; grandchildren Valerie, Evan, Jessica, Eric, Trent, Mason, Thomas, and Abigail; and a brother Charles Murray and his wife Janet of Washington, PA. Clara's great-grandchildren are Joshua, Aubrey, and Antonia .

No services are scheduled in Hickory. A Masss and Christian burial will be held in Pittsburgh on Wednesday August 13th. Details available at http://www.hickoryfh.com.

Friends are welcome at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas More Church, Bethel Park.
