Cloyd "CR" Richard Sigmon Jr.

Cloyd was born December 11, 1932 in Catawba Co. to the late Cloyd and Lucille Fulbright Sigmon, Sr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Scottie Pastelak and a sister, Judy Sigmon, step son, Walter Huffman, II.

He was a baptized member of Bethany Lutheran Church, an air force veteran of the Korean Conflict and self employed in the furniture industry.

Surviving is his wife, Rebecca K. Sigmon of the home; daughters, Ann Campbell and husband, Terry, of Hickory and Donna Hull and husband, Wayne, of Ormond Beach, FL; step daughters, Tamera Frontela and husband, Luis, of Hialeah, FL and Kimberly Miller of Hickory; brother, Rex Sigmon and wife, Libby, of Hickory; grandchildren, Julie Harbin and husband, Jerry of Claremont, Angel Bonchi and husband, Marvin, of Ormond Beach, FL.; grandsons, Eric Campbell and wife, Meredith of Lenoir, Michael Pastelak and wife, Rebecca of El Paso, TX, Jon Campbell of Hickory and Robert Hull of Ormond Beach, FL.; great-grandchildren, Krissy Helms, of Claremont, Jessica Garcia of Ormond Beach, FL, Isabell Pastelak of El Paso, TX, Jonathan Garcia of Ormond Beach, FL; step grandchildren, Alicia Barreiro and husband, Arian of Hialeah, FL and Anthony Frontela and wife, Izmari of Hialeah, FL and Maria Frontela of Hialeah, FL. and step-great grandchildren, Darian and Devin Barreiro of Hialeah, FL and Maecie Brumley of Claremont,

Services will be Monday, July 9, at 3:00 P. M. at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, ELCA with the Rev. Richard Hites and Rev. C. Pierson Shaw, Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery with graveside military honors conducted by American Legion Post #48.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:00 – 8:30 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home.
