Colleen Elizabeth Holland Parker

Colleen was born Oct. 21, 1917, in Catawba County, to the late Fletcher Lyles and Cordie Ella Dellinger Holland.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, L. T. Parker; four sisters; and five brothers. She was retired from Madaris Hosiery.

Surviving are her daughter, Kay Weaver and husband, Terry, of Hildebran, with whom she made her home; grandson, Jason Fleming and wife, Karen, of Long View; granddaughter, Kana Fleming, of Hildebran; great-granddaughters, Lauren and Megan Fleming, of Long View; and step grandsons, Chris Weaver and wife, Jessica, of Hickory and Wes Weaver, of Hickory step great-grandchildren; Brooks Weaver, Hunter Weaver, Kole Weaver, Aaliyah Weaver, special nieces and nephews; Jackie Franks, Richard Ward and Libby Chambers.

Services will be held Friday, Feb. 22, at 2 p.m., at the Hickory Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Nicholas Wilson officiating.

Burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Thursday, Feb. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Hickory Funeral Home.
