Connie Beth Fincannon

A lifelong resident of Hickory, Connie spent her entire life in the home she cherished. She was a lifelong member of Miller’s Lutheran Church where her faith was a steady and guiding presence. She was actively involved in her church circle group and valued the friendships and fellowship she found there.

Connie was strong-willed, faithful, and organized. She took pride in being presentable and appropriate, carrying herself with dignity and quiet determination throughout her life. Though she faced challenges with vision, she met life with resilience and steadfast faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Brady and Ethel Fincannon, and her sister, Diane Settlemyre.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, Jerry Settlemyre; and by her nephews, Todd Settlemyre and Brad Settlemyre.

A viewing will be held at Miller’s Lutheran Church on Friday, February 27, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a family-only graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Miller’s Lutheran Church in Hickory, North Carolina.
