Daniel Henry Good

Daniel Henry Good, 90 of Hickory went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 31st, 2025, at Trinity Ridge Nursing Home surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on January 8th, 1935, in McDowell County, Daniel was the son of the late Beulow Erving and Sally Irene Bennett Good.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his 5 brothers, Fred Good, John Good, Alvin Good, Earl Good and Brownlow Good; his 4 sisters, Allie Stafford, Mamie Brown, Nettie Huffman and Lou Morrow.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Sandra Good Wilkes; his son, Alan Daniel Good; his grandson, Alan Daniel Good II and wife, Ashley Kiser Good; his great grandson, Aiden Daniel Good and his great granddaughter, Anistan Delaine Good, as well as his brother, David Samuel Good.

A Graveside Service will be held at Catawba Memorial Park on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025, at 2:00 pm with Pastor Justin Mauney officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to Mount Pisgah Lutheran Church Walking Trail Fund at 9379 NC – 127 Taylorsville, NC 28681 (828-495-8251) in Daniel’s name.
