Debbie (Watts) Teague

Born in Catawba County on August 15, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Jacob “Joe” and Ora Lee Justice Watts.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Frank Teague of the home; her son Ron Teague and wife Emily of Hildebran; her grandson Easton Teague of Hildebran; sisters Patricia Clanton of Statesville, and Reba Mosteller and husband Dennis of Hickory, and her brother Kelly Watts and wife Lovanda of Hickory.

Debbie retired from Kelly Hosiery Mill where she worked for over 50 years and was an active member of Mountain Grove Baptist Church. She loved working with children and helping with Bible School. Debbie and Frank recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Some of her favorite past times included line dancing, traveling with friends, and cheering her family on at the races. She also enjoyed time with her sisters over Saturday lunches and was a dedicated grandmother to Easton.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 am at Mountain Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Rick Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends following memorial service in the fellowship hall.
