Mrs. Delene Johnson Propst

Delene was born February 18, 1942 in Burke Co. to the late James Henry and Verla Smith Johnson.

Delene graduated from Morganton High School and attended Western Carolina for 2 years.

Surviving are her husband, Wayne H. Propst of the home, sons, Todd Drury of Orlando, FL and Jeff Drury and wife Heather of Granite Falls, step daughter, Tracey Propst of Cornelius, NC and grandson, Tyler Drury of Granite Falls.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 17th 2010 with Reverend Tom McDonald officiating.

Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 16th, 2010 from 7:00 until 8:30 PM at Hickory Funeral Home.
