

Dennis Paul Isenhour Conover – Dennis Paul Isenhour, 91 of Conover passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Conover Nursing Home. He was born on March 22, 1923 in Alexander County the son of the late Charles and Carrie Isenhour. He had served in the US Army during the WWII. Dennis was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and a member of Woodman of the World. He had worked for Prestige Furniture, Bassett Furniture and retired from Broyhill after 18 years of service. Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family and going camping. He is survived by his wife of 69 years his “Dot Darling” Dorothy Hoke Isenhour; sons: Paul Eugene Isenhour and wife Linda Vaughan Isenhour, William Lee Isenhour and wife Donna Isenhour, Morris Dale Isenhour and wife Janie Setzer Isenhour; sister: Wanda Isenhour Lingerfelt and husband Jimmy Lingerfelt; brother: Hendl Isenhour; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 2, at 11 am at Faith Lutheran Church with Rev Dennis Hacker and Rev Byron Repass officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00-11:00am at the church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
