Oh my, I sure loved you! As a little girl playing on 3rd street and you always sitting on your porch with a smile and a hello. Growing up you were such a quiet, peaceful man. You were a great neighbor. I'd stop and talked to you sometimes. So, I'm sure your in the presence of Jesus with my dad as well. Waiting like the rest of us for Jesus return. To the family, my dad Edward Hines died back in 11/10/18. He sure thought Don, as we called him, was a very nice man. I send my condolences to the family. Since, you may wonder.. we lived diagonal at 817 3rd st.se Hickory. I know y'all miss him, but he's in a great place now. Happy not suffering.

It was good to have Donald as a friend. We had a lot of good times to gather. Back in time when he and his mother had 57 Chevrolet's.

We all enjoyed the trip to Texas. Hazel was a lot of fun with her remarks. Kept us from getting bored on the trip.

Sure Donald will be missed by all who knew him.
