Elaine was a very special cousin, Kappa Kappa Iota sister, and wonderful to be with. I will miss her in many ways, but will remember her and our many visits; when she came home from college, the Peace Corps, Chicago and her many travels. I am so glad that she was my cousin. Love you Elaine Sipe.

I knew Elaine as a gracious, fun-filled woman. She brought a sense of peace and a loving presence whenever she came to visit. Her connection to the Sisters of Mercy was deep and strong and will remain with us always.

As Academic Vice President, I was successful in convincing Elaine to join the faculty at Concordia University in 1990 and was privileged to work closely with her for 10 years. She was the architect of our adult education program and a very special colleague and person. Her love for her Lord guided her in all she did.

My sympathy to Elaine's family. We were faculty colleagues at Concordia University where we worked together planning and implementing conferences and professional development opportunities. She is now with her Savior.

Elaine and I were on the same floor our first year at CTC River Forest. We Northerners were intrigued by Elaine's
accent and stories of her family in NC
especially her sister, Martha Jane. We lost touch after college but a few years ago came in contact via email. It is most impressive to think of all the people she must have touched with her gentle, loving ways as she served in so many capacities. The Lord was honored by her service and He is now honoring her in His Home. We will meet again.
Sympathy to Martha Jane and family.
