Dorothy Lois Justice

HICKORY - Dorothy Lois Justice, 87, passed away October 3, 2014. Dorothy was born May 25, 1927 in Burke Co. to the late Gete and Alice Young Brittain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie W. Justice; brothers; Claude Brittain, Guy Brittain and Homer Brittain; sister, Bernice Cline and a son-in-law, Randy Ross. Surviving are her daughters; Sylvia Ross of Conover and Diane Justice Bentley of Lenoir; son, Elray “Oakie” Justice of Granite Falls; grandchildren, Michael Allen Ross and wife, Angie of Conover, Cheri L. Sigmon of Lenoir, Jamie Dale Ross and Wife, Marie of Conover, Christy Renae Bumgarner and husband, Ricky of Sawmills, James Dyer of Vale, Joyce Johnson and husband, Mark of Lenoir and Clarence Ross of Lenoir and 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Muriel Leonard, Edna Kiser and Velvia Clark and husband, Harry. The family will receive friends Sunday, Oct. 5, from 6:00 until 7:30 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home. Services will be Monday, Oct. 6, at 2:00 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
