Dorothy Harris Miller

Born on July 23, 1924 at home in Macon, NC. She and her husband moved to Hickory NC in 1954.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Miller; two brothers, Durwood Harris, Ed Harris and wife Joyce; brother in law Taylor Mustian; one niece Terry Patton

She is survived by her daughter Sandra Miller, son Larry Miller and wife Barbara; grandson Scott Miller, step grandsons Jeff Pollard and Nick Pollard; sisters Alease Mustian; Ennis Smith and husband J.H.; eight nieces and three nephews.

She was a member of Viewmont Baptist Church in Hickory for more than 60 years. Prior to her declining health she was very involved in many activities with the church including teaching Sunday school.

Her interests were gardening, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

The Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 1:45pm at Catawba Funeral Home with service to follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Officiated by Rev. Jay Robison.
