She was born on May 18, 1926 to the late Lee Roy Reynolds and Lillian Mae Hughes Reynolds in Cleveland County.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Ann Beal and husband Chris of Lincolnton; son, Eddie Smith and wife Debbie of Newton; daughter, Taru Byrd and husband Johnny "Bud" of Morganton; son, Mark Stafford of Valdese; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 2: 00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hickory Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Natalie Gray will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
