He was born in Catawba County on December 11, 1935, he was the son of the late Ted and Bertie Falls.
Earl served his country in 1954-1958 (Korean War) for the United State Navy. Later in life Earl established in 1967 with his wife, a landmark of Hildebran, opening Happy Day Grocery which sells gas, grocery, and produce, he was always there to serve and help his customers any way he could.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Herman Falls, and a sister Helen Collins.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Ann Baker Falls of the home; three loving children, sons David Falls of Hickory, and Tony Falls and wife Angie of Hildebran; a daughter Libby Lowman and husband Dennis of Connelly Springs; grandson Ben Lowman and wife Tiffany of Connelly Springs; a great granddaughter Ella Grace of Connelly Springs; sisters Bobbie Collins, Brenda Pope, Shirley Herron and Peggy Icenhour.
Mr. Falls, will lie in state, Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Hickory Funeral Home, the family will not be present.
The family will have a private funeral and burial.
