

Edith was born September 6, 1918 in Catawba Co. to the late John and Mary Alice Lail Killian.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henkel Columbus Boston, an infant son, a son, Harry Boston, a daughter, Darlene Yount, grandchildren: Leia Bowman, Anna Yount, Marissa Yount and Bryan Boston, brother, Preston Killian, sisters, Essie, Lizzie and Claudia Killian, Ollie and Arizona Lynch.
She was a lifelong member of Huntington Hills Church of God where she loved serving the church through the Women’s Ministry and also loved gardening.
Surviving are a son: Grady Boston and wife, Sonja of Hickory, a daughter: Gail Bowman and husband, Dennis of Hickory, grandsons: Gary Boston and wife, Joyce of Newton, Gregory Boston, Geffrey Boston and wife, Amy and Damon Bowman all of Hickory, granddaughter: Jennifer Throneburg of Hickory, great grandchildren: Cristina Boston, Eric Boston, Harrison Boston, Benjamin Boston, Locke Throneburg, Emma Throneburg and Anna Grace Throneburg.
Services will be Thursday at 3:00 P. M. at Huntington Hills Church of God with the Reverend Randall Miller officiating.
Burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Thursday at the church from 1:00 – 2:45 PM
Pallbearers will be Gary Boston, Gregory Boston, Geffrey Boston, Damon Bowman, Robert Killian, Joe Hildebran and Johnny Killian.
