Born in Catawba County on April 19, 1957, she was the daughter of the late James Earl and Eva Marie Bowman Scronce.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, and her brother Bradley Scronce.
She is survived by her husband Roger Lutz of the home; her daughter Heather Coffey and husband Jesse of Vale; grandson Brian Coffey of Vale; sister Pat Scronce (Albert Baynard) of Rutherfordton; brother Clifton Scronce (Katherine) of Greensboro; sister-n-law Sharon Scronce and seven nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm at Sardis Lutheran Church. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm with Reverend Oscar Shepherd officiating.
