HICKORY – Elaine Oxenberg, 92 of Hickory passed away on August 25, 2022 at Carolina Caring in Newton.
Elaine was born on April 18, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Abraham and Dorothy Feuerman. She was a member of Temple Beth Shalom. Elaine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Family meant everything to Elaine. She retired from Robert Abbey Lamps after 45 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sheldon Oxenberg; and sister, Helene Kaplan.
Survivors include her children, Larry Oxenberg and wife Helen, Denise Kaplan and husband Marty, Linda Oxenberg; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at 1 PM at Catawba Memorial Park with Rabbi Dennis Jones officiating. Burial will follow.
