

BETHLEHEM - Elizabeth "Libby" Kaylor Bowman, 75, passed away Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at Forsyth Medical Center. Libby was born May 10, 1938, in Catawba County, to the late Homer Eugene and Viola Bolick Kaylor. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Royd Marshall Bowman; and a brother, Robert Eugene Kaylor. She was a member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church and a retired nurse from Catawba Memorial Hospital. She is survived by daughters, Debbie Davis and husband, Mark, of Taylorsville and Sandy Goble, of Brentwood, Tenn.; sons, Randy Bowman and wife, Michelle, of Douglasville, Ga. and Jimmy Bowman and wife, Julia, of Charlotte; grandchildren, Hunter Bowman, Cassandra Goble, Nicole Davis, Whitney Bowman, Andrea Goble, Taylor Davis, Hannah Bowman, Christopher Bowman, Carlie Bowman and Sophia Bowman; sister, Carolyn Akins, of Greenback, Tenn.; special family, Doris Ann Carrigan and husband, Glenn, Mary Bowman and husband, Talmage and Martha Bowman. Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 1, at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Stephen T. Johnson and Neil Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 to 2:15 p.m. at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to Mt.
