Newton – Elizabeth “Beth” Kelly Rowe, 67 of Newton went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 30th, 2026, at Catawba Valley Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on November 16th, 1958, in Norfolk, VA, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Keith Wesley Kelly. Beth worked at Century Furniture for 36 years. She was kind, humble, sweet and generous to everyone she met. She had a strong faith in Jesus. Beth was loved by her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Wesley Kelly.
Those left to cherish her memory include her 2 sons, Patrick Eddy Rowe, II and fiancé, Kallie Lusk and Steven Rowe; her 2 sisters, Tammy Dellinger and Gale Cook; her sister in Christ, Marcia Rowe and her mother, Haroleen Kelly Payne.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Saturday, February 7th, 2026, at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating. She will be laid to rest following the service at Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Elizabeth’s name.
