Evelyn Noble

Hickory – Evelyn Joan Noble, 82 of Hickory went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Carolina Caring.

Born on September 29, 1938 in Durham County, she was the adopted daughter of the late Philip and Ruth McKinney and the biological daughter of the late Doris Link who she later established a close relationship with after the death of her adopted parents.

Survivors include, her husband of 64 years, Ed Noble; 4 sons, Mike Noble and wife Lynn, Phil Noble, Rick Noble and wife Jill, Patrick Noble and wife Leanna; 6 grandchildren, Derek Noble and wife Kellie, Ashley Watson and husband Martin, Lauren Noble, Kristen Jarman and husband Brandon, Savannah Noble, and Luke Noble; 2 step-grandchildren, Dalton Day, and Addison Day; 3 great grandchildren, Gage Noble, Clara Watson, Mason Noble; 2 sisters, Lynn McKinney, Carol Hutchins and husband Larry.

A private, family only Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Catawba Funeral Home with Pastor Jan Lovelace officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring at 3975 Robinson Rd, Newton, NC 28658.
