Faye was born on January 8, 1937, in Catawba County to the late Belton Henry and Minnie Smith Reinhardt.
She is survived by her two sons Douglas Matthew Sain of Vale and Jeffrey Allen Sain of Vale, As well as one sister, Arie Reinhardt Taylor of Vale. She is also survived by nieces; Doris Sullivan, Gail Hildebran (Donald), Sherry Erikson, Joy Martin (E.J.), Jan Leonard (David), Ellen Reid, and Audrey Sherrill (Guy N Sherrill Jr.). Nephews; Tim Martin (Brenda), Kevin Reinhardt, James Havner (Jeanie), Ricky Gross, and David Gross.
In addition to her parents Faye was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Bobby (Bob) Gene Sain, three sisters; Dorothy (Sis) Martin, Goldie Ellis, and Betty Pope. One brother, J.D. (Dule) Reinhardt and one nephew, Ashely Pope.
She was a lifetime member of Corinth Baptist Church in Vale. A 1955 Graduate of Fred T. Foard High School and attended Clevengers Business College.
Her first job was with Thomas & Howard Company in Hickory. She then was employed with Ethan Allen in Maiden for 10 years in the purchasing department. She then returned to Thomas & Howard Company and retired after 37 years as their Bookkeeper.
Faye loved to work in her flower and vegetable gardens, she loved to do Jigsaw puzzles and adult coloring.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 8th, 2026, at 3:00pm with Rev. William Kanupp officiating at Corinth Baptist Church in Vale. Receiving will be from 1:30pm to 2:45pm prior to the service.
