Born July 23, 1940 in Catawba County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Thomas Cody and Elsie Perline Ingle Cody. A member of First Advent Christian Church, she was previously employed as a floral designer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne B. Sigmon.
Those left to cherish her memory is her son, Kent Sigmon and wife Debbie; brother, Paul Cody and wife Jo Ellen; sister, Jewel Drinkard; grandson, Tyler Sigmon and wife Ashley; and great-grandchildren, Maggie and Lincoln Sigmon.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December10, 2021 at First Advent Christian Church in Hickory with Pastor John Roller officiating.
