Frances Herman Anderson

HICKORY---Frances Herman Anderson went home on Monday, April 27, 2015. Born February 27, 1928 in Hickory, however she spent most of her adult life in Clearwater, FL. She was a wife, mother and homemaker. She was the daughter of Claudia and Kirby Herman of Hickory. She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Henry “Andy” L. Anderson, her parents, eleven brothers and sisters and a grandson, Michael David Eichhorn. Surviving is her daughter, Sharon (David) Eichhorn of Hickory; granddaughters, Kimberly (Craig) Ashline of Palm Bay, FL and Holly (Tommy) Eller of Mtn. City, TN; five great grandchildren, Amanda (Matt) Blevins of Mtn. City, TN, Bryce (Margaret) Ashline of Palm Bay, FL, Shana (Jesse) Jenkins of Jacksonville, NC, Brook (Matt) Ashline of Palm Bay, FL, Josh (Ally) Eller of Mtn. City, TN and two great- great grandchildren , Kynzleigh Blevins and Liam Jenkins; sister, Ruby Abernathy; brothers, Phil and Jim Herman and special friends, Mary Cranford and Pat Smith. Visitation will be 45 minutes prior to services Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Unity Lutheran Church, 2025 Falling Creek Rd., NE, Hickory with Pastor John Woodard officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens along the side of her beloved Andy. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Catawba Regional Hospice, 3975 Robinson Rd., Newton, N.
