Frances Mildred Jenkins Bumgarner

HICKORY – Frances Mildred Jenkins Bumgarner, 75, of Hickory passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Brian Center Viewmont.

Born August 7, 1939 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Lula Smith Jenkins. Frances loved her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Lucy Jenkins, John William Jenkins, Robert Jenkins, Gene Jenkins, Daisy Jenkins Blanton and Jeanette Wilkerson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Jack Bumgarner; son, Bill (Donna) Bumgarner; daughter, Linda (Joe) Loggins; grandchildren, Jamie (Nathan) Lang, Chasta Cash, Caleb Bumgarner and Jordan Bumgarner; great grandchildren, Olivia Bumgarner and Luca Campos; brother, Clayton Jenkins, and sisters, Josephine Jenkins, Peggy Jenkins, Diane Jenkins, Evelyn Scarborough and Pauline Hudson.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 30th at 11 AM at Catawba Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremations with Rev. William Church officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 29th from 6 – 8 PM.
