Frances was born July 22, 1923 in Mecklenburg County to the late and Nora McCarver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son John William Boatwright and daughter Trula Boatwright.
Surviving are her 3 daughters Joann D. Collins of Maynardville, TN Kay Smith and husband Billy of Hickory, Shirley Pressley and husband Fred of Fort Mill SC,, Four sons, Graham Boatwright and wife Faye of Rock Hill SC, Roger Denton of Hickory, Grover Denton Jr. of Hiddenite, and Ricky Denton of Hickory, fourteen grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren 3 great great grandchildren and two sisters Mary Osborne of Fort Mill SC and Evelyn Wallens of Chester SC.
Memorial services will be private.
