Fred "Freddie" Willard Langford

HICKORY— Fred “Freddie” Willard Langford, 54 passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. Born in Buncombe County on April 30, 1964, he was the son of the late Harold Jonathan Langford and Shirley Roberts Langford. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother Jerry Darrell Langford. He is survived by his wife Mary Bowen Langford of the home; his mother Shirley Langford of Balls Creek; a daughter Hannah Drum of Maiden; brothers Robin Langford and wife Renae of Bethlehem, Daniel Langford and wife Karen of Catawba, and Paul Langford and wife Patricia of Newton; step-daughters Terry Frazier and Jackie Stines; grandchildren Brittany Swayney, Caitlin Stines and Elizabeth Stines; great grandchildren Cassie Shoemaker, Liam Shoemaker and Alina McCurry; nieces and nephews, Jonathan Langford, Lara Langford, Brianna Langford, Tyler Langford, , Eric Williams, Rachel Langford, Misty Bowman, and Jennifer Langford. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Hickory Funeral Home.
