Heather Leigh Lyon

CONOVER— Heather Leigh Lyon, 34 of Conover, passed away unexpectedly at her residence, Friday, December 8, 2017. Born in Catawba County on June 28, 1983, she was the daughter of Homer Lewis Lyon Jr. and Sandra Austin Lyon. Heather was employed by Best Buy in Mooresville. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Garland and Myrtle Austin; her paternal grandparents Homer and Joyce Lyon; her aunt Gayle Boyles; her uncles Jerry Austin and Kevin Austin and infant brother Tristin Heath Lyon. Heather is survived by her parents Lee and Sandra Lyon of Hickory, a sister Haley Krista Lyon and her husband Chris Alejo of Hickory; her boyfriend Doug Kropski; a niece Arianna “ Ari” Hope Alejo; her nephews Hayden Alejo and Heath Alejo; best friends Hollie Wilson and Dallas Toliver; a number of cousins, aunts and uncles, and her Best Buy family. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 5:00pm at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
