HERMAN SIGMON HICKORY- Marvin John Sigmon, 84, went home to be with his wife, Patricia on May 3, 2015. Born June 24, 1930 in Catawba County to the late Sam and Mary Sigmon. Herman was known around Hickory as the best front end man at Hickory Body Shop for many years. He loved camping and being outdoors. In addition to his wife and parents he is preceded in death by a son, Charles Womack and five brothers. Survivors include children, Rocket (Ray) Adams, Debra (Mike) Lowman, and John M. Sigmon; seven grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 3pm at Catawba Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
