Hilda H. Berry

Born December 1, 1932 in Burke County, she was the daughter of Harrison Henry Berry and Maude Heavner Berry.

She worked in the hosiery industry and retired from Kentucky Derby Hosiery in Hickory, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Arlena Berry Snypes and Nina Berry Eckard. A brother, Harrison Brady Berry died ten months after birth.

Survivors include three nephews, Mike Snypes, Dennis Eckard and Kenneth Eckard all of Hickory and two nieces Susan Snypes Sebastian of Daniel Island, SC and Janice Snypes Whitener of Lawrenceville, GA.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Leonard Bolick presiding.

Memorials can be made to Trinity Village, 1254 21st St NE, Hickory NC 28601.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to all her caregivers at Trinity Village, especially those in the Shepherd House.
