Ilene was born October 12, 1921 in Buncombe Co to the late James and Catherine Shook Hollar. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cameron J. Davis, 2 brothers, 1 half sister and 4 half brothers.
She was a member of Highland United Methodist Church and retired from Corning Cable.
She is survived by her sons; Glenn Vance Davis, Sr and wife, Connie, of Belton, TX and Frederick Ray Davis, Sr of Gastonia; brother, Troy Hollar, of Mooresville; 4 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren 2 great grandchildren, 11 step great grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at 2:00 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Elizabeth Graves officiating. Interment will be in Teague-Munday Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:30-8:00 PM at Hickory Funeral Home.
