James Martin Wilhelm, 80, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Trinity Ridge.

James was born August 6, 1937 to the late James Martin Wilhelm Sr. and Ruth Murdock Wilhelm.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Joyce Elliott; six brothers and two sisters; and his beloved dog Daisy.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Dorothy Heavner Wilhelm; sons, Tyler (Ashley) Wilhelm, James (Tammy) Wilhelm, and Jeff Wilhelm; daughters, Judy (Michael) Kluczykowski, Janet (Jeff) Redmond, Jody (Joe) Lutz, and Tonya (Tony) Godfrey; fourteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; brother, Ren Wilhelm; sister, Ruth Barkley.

Memorial service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Homer Greene officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 pm prior to the service.
