Jayden Britt Pennell

Born on November 16, 2003, Jayden was a quiet soul who had a heart full of compassion and a natural gift for caring for others, especially children. Whether it was holding his baby cousin with quiet tenderness or supporting younger kids at school, Jayden was someone others instinctively looked to for kindness and comfort.

An avid outdoorsman, Jayden found peace and joy in fishing—whether by a quiet pond or casting lines off the ocean pier. He also loved sports, especially wrestling and baseball, both of which brought out his determination and team spirit.

Jayden is deeply loved and missed by his father, Jack Pennell; his mother, Joy Pennell; and his brother, Jansen Pennell. He is and forever will be “Bubby” to Jansen. Jayden’s presence in their lives, as well as extended family and friends, was a true blessing. His memory will forever live in their hearts.

A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jayden’s memory to Shriners' Hospital for Children in Greenville, South Carolina.
