Jeffrey Alan Brittain, 60, of Hickory, departed his earthly life on Friday, June 6,2025 at Carolina Caring in Newton. Jeffrey was born December 9, 1964, in Catawba County, he was the son of Judy Gail Barbour Patton and of the late Richard Herbert Brittain.
He was a long-time employee of SAS Institute. Jeffrey had a love for the Duke Blue Devils, the Denver Broncos and he loved to fish.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter Lauren Brittain, sister Jennifer Travis (John), nephew Dylan Travis (Haley) and niece Jessica Travis.
Memorial Services for Jeffrey will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Drum Hickory Funeral Home Chapel.
The family request in lieu of flowers memorials be given to Catawba County Humane Society, 3224 20th Avenue SE Hickory, NC 28602.
