Jimmie Franklin Cook

HICKORY-Jimmie Franklin Cook, 77 of Hickory, passed away, Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born July 24, 1945 in Memphis, TN, he was the son of the late Frank A. Cook and Hettie Bright Cook. He was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church. He is survived by wife Deborah Mathis Cook of the home; daughters Lisa Cook Setzer and husband Chris of Maiden, and Amanda Cook Petty and husband Wesley of Conover; granddaughters Kaylee Setzer of Maiden, and Mackenzie Petty of Conover; grandson Caleb Petty of Conover and a brother Ralph Cook and wife Betty of Hickory. The family will receive friends, Monday, August 1, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Mt. View Baptist Church. Memorial service will be held Monday, August 1, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Mt. View Baptist Church with Dr. John Compton officiating.
