Born July 24, 1945 in Memphis, TN, he was the son of the late Frank A. Cook and Hettie Bright Cook.
He was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church.
He is survived by wife Deborah Mathis Cook of the home; daughters Lisa Cook Setzer and husband Chris of Maiden, and Amanda Cook Petty and husband Wesley of Conover; granddaughters Kaylee Setzer of Maiden, and Mackenzie Petty of Conover; grandson Caleb Petty of Conover and a brother Ralph Cook and wife Betty of Hickory.
The family will receive friends, Monday, August 1, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Mt. View Baptist Church.
Memorial service will be held Monday, August 1, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Mt. View Baptist Church with Dr. John Compton officiating.
