Born in Catawba County on April 22, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Martha Weaver Young.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Lester Buff and her sister Louise Childers.
She was a member of New Covenant Church of God.
She is survived by her sons William “Danton” Buff Sr. (June) of Connelly Springs and Ronnie Buff (Kay) of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren Robert William Buff (Jenny), Bobbie Walker (Michael), William “Danton” Buff Jr., Jessie Phillips (Torean) and Roland Jeremiah Buff (Michelle); 9 great grandchildren and 8 step grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Friday, September 25, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Dennis R. Pitts and Pastor Tim Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Brookford City Cemetery.
