Mr. John Robert Munday

John was born June 8, 1922 in Ashe Co. to the late Thomas Carroll and Julia Alma Michael Munday.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Bell Flannery Munday.

He was a member of Central Baptist Church, retired from Cox Mfg. Co., was an ordained deacon since July 3, 1958 and was in the army air corp.

Surviving are a daughter, Frances Correll of Hickory, a son, John Thomas Munday and wife, Vickie of Lincolnton., a brother, Ed Munday of Baltimore, MD., 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday, August, 26, at 2:00 P. M. at Central Baptist Church with Dr. Ernest Speagle and Reverend John Shaffer officiating.

Burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park with military honors being conducted by American Legion Post #48.

The family will receive friends Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church.
