John Michael Summers, 27, passed away Sunday, December. 7, 2014 at his residence. John was born September 15, 1987 in West Virginia to Deanne Brewer Mingus and John Martin Summers. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eric Mingus and a stepfather, Dale Mingus. Surviving are his mother, Deanne Mingus; father, John Martin Summers; sisters, Alycia Summers and Joy Ennis and husband, Rusty; brother, Michael Mingus and wife, Tina; nieces and nephews, Hannah, Aaliyah, Chloe, Austin and Emily; maternal grandparents, Linda Robinson and husband, Terrell and Marvin Brewer and wife, Delores; paternal grandparents, John Robert Summers and wife, Alana and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 11, 2014, at 5:00 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 11, 2014, from 3:30 – 4:45 P.
